Encounter Tour

The Encounter Tour is a nature-based CoastXP immersion experience. The tour focuses closely on the annual Humpback Whale (Megaptera Novaeangliae) migration between the months of June and November each year.

CoastXP’s Adventure Tour is a premier offshore boating experience showcasing the magnificent Hunter coastline. Experience the breathtaking coastal scenery of Newcastle, with pods of resident dolphins, seabirds, turtles and other marine life. The tour focuses closely on key landmarks, local geology, marine life, and Aboriginal heritage between the months of November and May each year.

Bespoke Tours

Each of our tours are unique. Although from time to time we do provide truly one off experiences for private groups, conferences and events. These tours are tailor made so that your group will see the Hunter Coast in the most authentic way possible. Bespoke tours are booked upon request, and can provide the opportunity for your group to enjoy all that the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie Coastline has to offer. 


Cruise Tour 

The Cruise Tour is a combined port and offshore adventure boat experience. Departing from Queens Wharf along the Newcastle Harbour Foreshore, the tour visits the major areas around Australia’s third largest port before heading offshore along the scenic Hunter Coastline, stopping at Newcastle’s key destination landmarks along the way. (Available to cruise ship visitors to Newcastle).
